The Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In was opened on July 4, 2012. It is Austin’s one and only drive-in movie theater and the world’s first Mini Urban Drive-In.
They jump started the new drive-in resurgence that is currently sweeping the nation, or so they claim.
They concentrate on childhood favorites, drive-in classics, indie films, art house, cult, and Gen X/Y pop culture faves. A new drive-in experience is born right in the heart of the city.
They claim to be the drive-in movie theater for the modern age. It was closed on July 3, 2023.

Their website says they shut down this address location on July 3rd to prepare their next flagship location. They have a second location at 300 San Antonio St., Austin Tx., rooftop of parking garage. It’s describes it as an outdoor movie viewing without sitting in your car. A walk-in type amphitheater screen.
