Located in the centre of Paris, south of the River Seine, close to the Latin Quarter. The Cinema Monge Palace was opened in April 1923. Seating was provided in orchestra and two balcony levels. There were 659 seats in the orchestra. In 1974 it screened the pornographic film “The Devil in Miss Jones” screened as part of a film festival, as porn films were not allowed to be screened for the general public at that time. It was closed in 1974.
In 2008 it was operating as a Champion supermarket. By 2020 it was a Carrefour City supermarket.
