Cineplex Odeon opened its five-screen Station Square Cinemas on December 16, 1988, across the hall from the Famous Players Station Square Cinemas. The largest theatre, Cinema Five, seated 443 while the smallest, Cinema Two, seated 206.
Due to competition from the nearby SilverCity Metropolis, the Cineplex Odeon Station Square closed in 2001.

This cinema opened on December 16, 1988, with the following films: “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” in THX, “Big,” “Without a Clue,” “Twins,” and “The Land Before Time.” It closed on the evening of February 22, 2001, with the following films: “Chocolat,” “Head Over Heels,” “Shadow of the Vampire,” “Finding Forrester,” and “Thirteen Days.”
