“Return of the Jedi” played there as a twin, so 1983 was the latest it got twinned.

It could have been the early 80’s because the McDade drive-in closed after the 1983 season. I do know I saw the Hindenburg here and it was a single screen theater. Of course I could be mixing it up with the Eric Pilgrim Gardens which was always a single theater.

This theater was twinned several years earlier than the late 1980s claim.

It opened as a single thetaer when they closed the McDade Drive in sometime around 1983.It was twined in the late 80’s Not sure when it went to 4 screens. Was not the best theater around.

Actually the ad I have for Friday the 13th part V in March of 1985 list it as a 4 screen, so it was a 4 screen long before 1993..

Wow, finally a listing for this theater. I got lots of ads to post on the photos section so look out for em. Seen cocoon in summer of 85 and then seen the terrible robocop 3 in fall of 93. that was the last movie i seen there. I only seen these 2 movies here. But it showed alot of cool movies in its heyday.. Friday the 13th part 3 in 3-D Amityville 3-D. Halloween III, just so many to name.
