It was re-branded Cineworld in 2005. Seating capacities in the screens range from 336, down to 191. On 26th July 2024 it was announced the cinema would be closing and it was closed on 6th October 2024 due to financial problems of Cineworld.

Was Cannon Cinemas, then got took over by MGM Cinemas then Virgin Cinemas, then UGC & finally Cineworld. However it was very busy every night of the week while under the first 3 companies and was the most fun years of my time working for them. Mr Wright(General Manager)and his family were the best to work with.
Great Cinema complex showing great films, i recall watching Terminator 2 Judgement Day while under the Cannon banner.
