CinemaStar Theatres previewed this 2,200-seat theater to the public on August 21, 1996 with free movies. The Riverside Press Enterprise says it was designed so it could be expanded to 16 screens. Operations were taken over by Regency Theatres in 2008 and it is operated as one of their first-run theaters. It was closed on May 27, 2024.
