Frederick’s only state of the art multiplex, rich with digital sound and picture, stadium seating, an available IMAX screen, etc. It opened on November 29, 2002 by R/C Theatres. It was taken over by Regal in 2005.

The IMAX screen at this theatre is abnormally small even by IMAX Digital multiplex standards. Per Large Format Examiner’s data it’s less than 47 feet wide.
Please update, rename theatre to Regal Westview, theatre opened on November 29, 2002 and it was opened by R/C Theatres, Regal took over in 2005 and it’s currently under renovation with certain screens getting VIP seating. Currently 3 auditoriums are closed.
