The closing year has been corrected to 1973.
I recall seeing Robert Vaughn in a film called ‘The Venetian Affair’ back in 1967 in The Mayfair, Sinclair Drive. It was memorable due to the name and the leading actor as I went to see it believing it was a ‘Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ film and so as previously stated the theatre couldn’t have closed in 1963.

How cood it have closed in 1963 when.we seen seen yellow submarine by the Beatles on a saturday afternoon in 1968,not unless all u need is love and the superb film track. was written pre 63,….victor eff.
as relief projectionist i worked in the mayfair in 1972 so it must be after that it closed
