Located in the Clinton Hill district of Brooklyn. This early movie theatre was being built by the Gold Realty Co. in August 1910. It was a single level theatre and opened in 1911 as the Franklin Theatre.
In 1914, it was named the Brooklyn Theatre, and in 1916 alterations were carried out by architect Hy Halden Jr.
It was later known as the New Franklin Theatre and was closed in 1922.
When seen in June 2005, the building was in use as a laundromat.
