Located between Thomasville and Greensboro. The Midway Drive-In was opened on July 4, 1948 with Penny Singleton in “Blondie’s Big Moment”. By 1955 it was listed as operated by T.A. Little. It was then operated by Consolidated Theatres until 1976. Taken over by independent management, it operated until at least 1989, when the land was sold. A shopping center was built on the site.

Ghostbusters 2 was released in 1989, and I saw it here. Therefore it was open at least until then…
