The Pleasant Hill Drive-In closed for the final time on January 1, 1984 with a triple-feature. The final films played there were “Staying Alive”, “Flashdance”, and “Classroom Teasers” as its last attraction.
Billboard, Dec. 25, 1954: “Robert P. Maclary, owner of Pleasant Hill Drive-In, Wilmington, Del., was re-elected to the State’s House of Representatives recently.”

Opened with “A Ticket to Tomahawk”. There was a miniture steam in the playground. Closed in 1983. Demolished in 1988 Site is now The Village at Hershey Run condominium complex.
I have, in my notes, a date of 1985 for the closing of Pleasant Hill Drive In. I didn’t note where I got that date. Can anyone confirm?
