September 14th, 1967 opened with two cinemas called Frontenac with 1,283 seats and Le Dauphin with 623 seats by Odeon Theatres, their first in the Quebec City area.
1976 Frontenac is split into two cinemas of 512 and 720 seats
1977 taken over by Canadian Odeon as Canadian Theatres buys out Odeon Theatres.
1984 taken over by Cineplex Odeon
October 1986 reopened with 8 cinemas with one large cinema and 7 smaller ones. Denys Arcand took part in the opening with the screening of “Le Déclin de l'empire Américain”
2004 became part of Cineplex Entertainment.
2007 the Charest St. Entrance is dismantled.
Late 2010 Cinema 1 is closed due to the leaky roof.
April 7th, 2011 closed. Quebec is now the largest city in Canada without a first-run downtown cinema.

In French (via Google) 14 septembre 1967 a ouvert avec deux salles de cinéma appelée Frontenac 1283 sièges et Le Dauphin avec 623 sièges par Odeon Theatres, leur première dans la région de Québec.
1976 Frontenac est divisé en deux salles de cinéma de 512 et 720 sièges
1977 repris par le Canadien Odéon que théâtres canadiens rachète Odeon Theatres.
1984 repris par Cineplex Odeon
Octobre 1986 a rouvert avec 8 salles de cinéma avec un grand cinéma et 7 petits. Denys Arcand a pris part à l'ouverture avec la projection de “Le Déclin de l'Empire Américain”
2004 est devenu une partie de Cineplex Divertissement.
2007, le Saint-Charest entrée est démantelé.
Fin 2010 Cinéma 1 est fermée en raison de la toiture qui fuit.
7 avril 2011 fermé. Québec est maintenant la plus grande ville au Canada sans un cinéma du centre-ville en première diffusion.

So based on the Google Street view screenshot of the demolition of the Place Charest from 2015 (and the current street view showing a vacant lot at its address), the theatre should be listed as Demolished.
