Located in the Culver Ridge Plaza. Regal Cinemas opened this theatre June 20, 1997 with 16 theatres. This theatre is one of the least attended theatres in Rochester. If the Medley Center, also known as Irondequoit Mall, is demolished, a new theatre will be built and this theatre maybe vacant at some point. It was closed on March 15, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It never reopened.

It appears that this theatre has closed. Although Fandango is still showing the theatre as temporarily closed, it is currently not listed on Regal’s theatre locator and never appeared on Regal’s reopening schedule. The final day of operation for this theatre was March 15, 2020 (the day NY prohibited the operation of theatres due to the COVID-19 pandemic).

When to the theater recently and took a look in inside from the windows in the main entrance and it looks like it was going to reopen in October 2020. On the doors it had the “We’ve missed you” sign from regal and if you look inside you can see the poster for “The War with Grandpa” which came out in October 2020, plus the place still has power

The theatre opened on a 25-year lease on June 20, 1997. Regal closed here on March 15, 2020 for the COVID-19 pandemic. When Regal reopened many of its locations briefly in September of 2020, it decided agains reopening here. With the lease coming due in June of 2022, the venue was not reopened with Regal sued for the final two years of leasing back rent. The theater’s closing date was March 15, 2020.
