West Coast Junior Theatres leased the Majestic Theatre, and the local Wyatt Theatre, but they were ordered closed in December of 1928 by the city building inspector. The Los Angeles Times said that they had not been showing movies at the time and the circuit did not protest as they were readying the opening of their new West Coast Theatre in Redlands. The only protests came from the Community Players and the Music Association. West Coast Theaters also operated the Liberty Theatre, which was not affected by the condemnation order. The Majestic Theatre and Liberty Theatre both advertised regularly in the LA Times in the mid-1920s. The 1940 to 1943 editions of Film Daily Yearbook listed it as closed. A shopping center now occupies the site.

The Majestic Theatre was open by 1911, when it was mentioned in an August 26 item in The Rounder, headed “Season Opens in Redlands.”
The Majestic was showing movies by 1914, when it was mentioned in several issues of The Moving Picture World in connection with a proposal to forbid the exhibition of movies on Sunday, and another proposal to establish a local board for censoring movies. Another of the three movie houses then operating in Redlands, the Grand Theatre, was also mentioned.
The September 13, 1925, issue of The San Berardino County Sun reported that control of the Wyatt, Liberty, and Majestic Theatres in Redlands would be transfered from local operator Inland Theatres to Junior Theatres, an affiliate of West Coast Theatres. The Majestic would for a short time continue to be run by an independent local operator who had a lease that was soon to run out.
