Opened on November 25, 1985 as the Hoyt’s Laurel Lake 8. It was part of Laurel Lakes Centre, the screens were actually in two separate buildings, across from each other in the plaza. Fout more screens were added in the late-1980’s.

I remember when this one first opened in 1985, they had free attendance all weekend. My cousin and I saw MAX MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME and ST. ELMOS FIRE.
