I worked at both the Lee Theater and Parkview Drive In summer of 67. The drive in was classic.
Approx. address for this drive-in was 19091 Lakeview Dr NW, Lakeview, Washington 98851.
I’ve been trying to find out the of the last movie shown at this theatre. Thanks if you can help.
richardnecochea…the best way is to go to the local library and start going through the copies of the local newspaper and look at the movie ads.
I saw the original Halloween movie (with Jamie Lee Curtis) at this theater in 1978. I believe it closed not too long after that. The screen and marquee are still standing.
Are the speaker posts still there?
No Speaker posts are all gone. Snack bar and ticket booth are gone too. Foundation for ticket booth is still there though. Screen and outer fencing is all that is left.
This screen is slated to be moved to the Auto Vue Drive In in Colville, which is the only remaining operational drive-in in eastern Washington.
The screen has been removed as of August, 2014.
As of June 2023, the marquee is still standing. It is being used by Cruisers Diner.
