Correct. The building was demolished after the fire, and there’s a gap in that block where it used to be. What was once the basement has been a small parking area since the late 70s.
The Magnet Theatre building suffered a fire in March, 1977, according to this page from the Claremont Firefighters Association. There are no details, and the two photos were taken from down the block, but it looks to have been a significant fire and it probably led to the demolition of the building.
The Magnet in Claremont is listed in the 1942-43 Motion Picture Almanac as part of Sharby Theatres, Fred Sharby, of Keene NH. Sharby also ran at that time the Tremont Theatre in Claremont.
