Bay Drive-In

The Bay Drive-In opened in 1959. It was located on Route 23, four miles north of Pinconning. This drive-in had a capacity for 300 cars. The Bay Drive-In was destroyed by a tornado in June 1965.

Address was 5913 N. Huron Rd. The snackbar has been replaced with a house last known to have been occupied by Norman VanWormer, who also owned the drive-in.

A more accurate address is 3917 Bay-Arenac Rd, Pinconning, MI.

This points to the entrance road for the drive-in which is now used as the driveway for the house on the property.

You can just barely make out the faint outline of the drive-in. Otherwise, there is no trace remaining apart from the entrance road/driveway.
