Claremore Theatre

A one-hundred-year-old tinted picture postcard view shows a movie theatre on West Third (now Will Rogers) Street, just off Cherokee. Since no name is visible we’ll call it the ‘Claremore’.

Another 1942 color picture post card shows cadets parading past the same location, but it looks like the building is being used for retail space. Today this space is a costume and magic shop
That’s all I have for now, throw in your two cents worth if you know more.

Same theater? Boxoffice, March 10, 1975: “Video Theatres has purchased the Movies house in Claremore and have changed the name to Video Theatre.”
