Located in downtown Bingen, Washington, the Canyon Theatre opened in 1949. It always ran double features such as "Gunfight At Commanche Creek" and "Muscle Beach Party". They had an annual Canned Foods Christmas Benefit show for the needy.
By the late-1960’s, it was gone, leaving only the Rodeo Drive-In in the town to cater for movies.
Later reopened as the George Theatre, it was closed in 2009. It now operates as a performing arts theatre, known as the Bingen Theater.

Thanks Chuck 1231.
I’ve discovered that the Bingen Theater is now an arts center, and presents concerts and plays throughout the year. It also houses a recording studio.
The theater website also features videos from live concerts, and looks to be in very nice shape.
I saw Sleeping Beauty at this theater in 1959. :)
According to the Friday, January 23, 1948 issue of the Mt. Adams Sun, the Canyon Theatre in Bingen would open that night. The opening feature would be “Down to Earth” with Rita Hayworth and Larry Parks. The Canyon was still advertising in the paper in December, 1966, but appears to have closed soon after.
