The Palace Theatre advertised ‘high class pictures and music’. It was in operation since at least 1908, at which time a stage, 20 feet deep and 17 feet wide, was added behind the screen to accomodate vaudeville. At the same time a singer’s balcony was added to the side of the stage. Their motto was "Once a patron always a patron".
The theatre was destroyed by fire on May 21, 1915.
