Geneva Drive-In was closed approximately 1972-73, and torn down approx. 1973-74. I moved to California and Arizona 1972-74, it was there and open when I left but gone when I returned. You turned in to the theater off of State Street and passed by several businesses; i.e. a grocery store and a store called Grand Central and then entered a lane for the drive-in. The old Orem railroad line passed by the back side of the screen, (the railroad has since been torn out and is now Orem Blvd.).
This opened on July 4th,1948 and closed in 1974. Grand opening ad posted.
This one actually opened on July 3, 1948. The feature film was “California” starring Ray Milland.
