The Rio Theatre was operating prior to 1941. "Hot Stuff" was playing June 3, 1980. The Rio Theatre would close on the 4th of July every year. The feature would show only at 8 pm on the weekdays. They had two different films weekly for the most part.

Address is wrong. This is at 315, and has suffered a bad remodel. It is used as apartments. Was built sometime after 1913. The Kansas historical society says 1890, but that’s very dubious, and based on two smaller buildings previously on this site.
