The Savoy was the first theater located in Largo, then a rural citrus town. It appears to have been nothing more than a nickelodeon. It was located next to the New Pinellas Hotel on what was then Railroad Avenue. In 1915 it was showing "Rum and Wallpaper," a Fatty Arbuckle short. The building was torn down decades ago and a veterinarian’s office occupies the site today.

Here is a picture showing part of the Savoy. They list the picture as being taken in 1912, but the short didn’t come out until 1915.
