The Breezway Drive-In was built by a former teacher in 1951. The newspaper article stated that the theater was being constructed on US 19 at the Elfers cutoff, which is modern-day Florida 54. The theater seems to have disappeared by the 1970’s, about the time when the New Port Richey/Port Richey area became suburbanized, and no trace is left of the former theater.
