Midway Drive-In

Opened on July 1, 1952 with Tony Martin in “Two Tickets to Broadway”. Mhe Midway Drive-In was the only drive-in in the small town of Holiday, known at the time as Tarpon Springs. It held out until the late-1990’s (still standing in 1998), but it fell to a Home Depot by 2002.

It appears in the 1956 newspapers, which have it listed as being in Tarpon Springs. Holiday isn’t an incorporated area and it wasn’t developed until the 60s.
