From Peter Fonda’s bio "Don’t Tell Dad" traveling back to Texas for some pick-up shots for "Easy Rider" Peter wrote,"On the far side of town we passed the huge Panola Drive-In with a marquee that featured a triple-header of biker films: "Glory Stompers" {Dennis Hopper’s film},"Hells Angels On Wheels" {Jack’s} and the main show "The Wild Angels" our laughter at such a coincidence was slightly hysterical."
The Panola Drive-In parked 408 cars and was owned by Nelson Honey. Being able to pass on priceless stories like that to other members is a great joy.
