The Euclid Theater opened in the 1920’s in St. Petersburg’s newest suburb, Euclid St. Paul’s. The theater was located on the "Great White Way," the neighborhood’s main commercial street leading out of downtown St. Pete. While this street was originally known as Euclid Boulevard, it was changed to 9th Street North and then recently changed again to Martin Luther King Street North.
The theater seems to have disappeared by the end of the 1920’s, as it is never again mentioned in the movie section of the local newspaper. The building still standing, though its use is unknown.

Andy, isn’t the address 2809?
Yeah, it is 2809. Not sure what I was thinking when I submitted the place. I drove by it yesterday and, while there are no markings on the place, it appears to be occupied. The jalousie windows were open and I could see lights inside. I’ll get some pictures of the remaining St. Pete theaters either this week or next.
May 2010.
I updated the street view to show building at 2809 Martin Luther King Street North.
