The Victory Theatre was located on the corner of Bull Street and E. 41st Street. Seating was listed at 718 seats. I could find no time line on the Victory Theatre. The Victory Theatre was owned by Lucas Theatres.

The victory theater was gutted and used as the lobby for the Victory Square 9.
Sorry Chuck1231. You are right.
It’s been many years since I watched a film at the Victory Theatre (early 50’s), however I don’t think the building is still standing, my bet is on the empty lot if you swing the street view around to the right. I’ll have to drive by on my next visit to Savannah.
The Victory Theater was sold to a Savannian in the late 1940’s. It closed in the late 60’s and became a disc in the 70’s. It burnt down in the late 70’s and is that vacant lot on Bull St near Popeye’s. It was a great neighborhood theater.
Walked to this theater 1958-1959 10-11 years old. Recall the horror movies mostly. Also, Little Rascals, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello movies with serials. They had small cups of coke for five cents.
