Opened as the Ruby Theatre by 1914. By 1926 it was operated by the Finkelstein & Ruben chain. They were taken over by Publix in 1929 It became the State Theatre in 1935. Seating was listed at 427. The Theatre was later operated by Minnesota Amusement Co. and finally from 1975 to closing by Tentelino Enterprise.
The State Theatre closed in 1980. Later converted to retail use.
