Rivoli Theatre

Located on the corner of Gilbert Road and Oakover Road, in the Melbourne suburb of West Preston. The Rivoli Theatre opened on 16th November 1935. It was closed in late-1958.

The building was converted into offices and a warehouse for the Austral Jewel Case Company. In 2010, it was in use as a wholesale warehouse selling olive oil. The interior of the building remains pretty well intact, with decorative features still on the walls and ceiling, the screen is still in place and seats are still in the balcony. The upper level, including balcony foyer and the projection suite is now an apartment.
