The Pandora Theatre was opened prior to 1926, when it was listed with 751 seats. By the mid-1930’s it had been renamed Roxy Theatre (an earlier Roxy Theatre has its own page on Cinema Treasures) and seating was listed at 500. The theatre was located on Jeanette Street at Leonidas Street.

The Roxy Theatre went over to catering for an African-American audience in April 1954. It closed in the mid-1960’s. It has since been demolished and housing built on the site.
