The Creston was operated as a sub-run by Harry Himmelstein at least into the late 1960’s and I believe was still running as late as 1975, but I could be wrong as I am old.
Closed in 1959.
Reopened in 1960, taken over by adult movie operators on March 30th, 1973 and closed later in 1973.
The Creston started advertising in 1920 along with the adjoining Creston Candy Shop that served as the de facto concession stand for the venue. It did not close in 1959 running continuously to the adult transformation in 1973.
