Bell Theatre

Opened as the Lyceum Theatre in 1911 by Atlas Theatres according to Jim Rankin’s notes. The architect was Jacob Jacobi. The theatre went through various names ie: Lyceum Theatre, Iris Theatre and by the early-1940’s the Roosevelt Theatre when it was operated by the Adler Theater Co. and had a 750 seating capacity. It was last known as the Bell Theatre. Seating was listed at 320.

The theatre closed in 1965 and was converted to warehouse/storage facility. By 2011, it was in use as an electronics store. Any further information would be appreciated.
