Electric Pavilion Picture House

Located at the corner of Putney Bridge Road and Brewhouse Lane, just across the River Thames in the south London district of Putney. The Mirror Electric Theatre opened on 11th February 1911. Soon renamed the Mirror Theatre and by 1914 when it closed it was named Mirror Picture Theatre. It remained closed during World War I and never reopened. The building survived for many years during which time it was used to manufacture window blinds.

It was demolished in 1972 together with the former Regal/ABC cinema and the former Electric Pavilion/Blue Hall/Putney Palace/Gaumont/Odeon on Putney High Street, both of which backed onto the Mirror Theatre. On the site offices were built which included a new Odeon (now Odeon Luxe Putney) all of which have their own pages on Cinema Treasures.
