This was originally operated by a chain called Super Saver Cinemas that had 3 other 8 plexes in the Valley. This theater probably opened with the mall in 1990 or so.
SUPER SAVER CINEAM BUILT THIS THERE AROUNG 1990, LATER SILVER CINEMA PURCHASE IT, THE AUDITORIUM PHOTOS HERE NOT SURE WHO BUT THEY ARE VERY NICE A WARM LOOK TO THEM YET NOT DARK
Super Saver had several locations usually pickups from other companies whose thateatres weren’t doing so well. 3 such cases in point: Fremont Gateway 8 screens in Fremont Ca. AMC Milpitas 10 and AMC Mainplace 6 Santa Ana. The latter also turned into a Picture Show. All 3 were due to Century Megaplexes nearby…
