The Alouette Theatre opened on March 6, 1952. The 1,325-seat movie house has all seating on a single level. It was renamed Pigalle Theatre in 1974. Owned by Famous Players, this theater was a roadshow house from 1956-1970.
Closed as a concert venue on August 5, 2007, plans were approved for demolition in February 2008. It was demolished in September 2008.

Lost Memory I finally found the grand opening ad for the Alouette, it was billed as “Le nouveau cinéma français de distinction” at View link .
The demolation has has completed.

Reopened as a French speaking adult cinema called Pigalle on January 14th, 1974. Its grand opening ad can be found in the photo section for this cinema.
