Auditoriums 2-4 have been upgraded to recliners. Auditorium 1 (Premiere Cinema, soon to be IMAX) is the only one still closed, but I’ve heard that they’re hoping to re-open it in time for Avatar: Fire and Ash (releasing December 19th)
Current capacity is 2,160.

Is the ICE auditorium getting recliners or they have special seats like 4DX?
As long as it remains an ICE Immersive auditorium, it should keep its existing seats, which are back-reclining deluxe leather seats with charging capabilities (USB and wireless)
It no longer remains an ICE Immersive auditorium.
Auditorium 1 (Premiere Cinema, soon to be IMAX) and 5 (formerly ICE Immersive) are currently closed.
As far as I’m aware, all auditoriums are no longer masking, and they’ve gutted and boarded up the box office.
Current capacity is 2,160.

Auditorium 1 (formerly Premiere Cinema) has been upgraded to IMAX, opening at 7 PM tonight with Avatar: Fire and Ash in 3D. It retained the balcony from its original layout.
Auditorium 5 (formerly ICE Immersive) is currently closed.
Current capacity is 1,836.

Experienced AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH in the IMAX theater 12/24. First rate presentation. The new recliners are quite comfortable. The interior looks amazing. My new go to for big event movies 🍿
Is there a reason why the Balcony is closed at LA Live, it’s shows every show seats unavailable?
From what I understand, the sound system on the balcony is not yet up to IMAX standards. Frankly, the balcony seats are also too high up to be immersive, but when has that stopped IMAX?
It’s also worth noting that the new balcony seats, while comfier than the previously installed seats, do not recline or include tray tables.
Capacity as of December 19th, 2025 is 1,832. I previously stated 1,836 due to Regal’s inclusion of 4 non-existent seats in the IMAX seat map (I25-28). Those seats are no longer visible in the seat map.
