In the Schaerbeek district is a crossroad name Place du Pavillon. On the Rue Jean Francois Navez the street nearby, was a cinema first call Pavillon Cinema, named for its proximity to the place de Pavillion. It opened in 1920, and changed name to Pavy Cinema in the late-1930’s. It was part of the Rahm circuit who owned the Nova Cinema and Roxy Cinema in the same district. It was more an adult cinema, where the Nova and Roxy were both family cinemas.
In 1965 "Good Neighboor Sam" with Jack Lemmon was shown third run after Metropole Cinema and Marni Cinema, but before the Century Cinema in Saint Josse and Raf. The Pavy Cinema closed at the end of the 1960’s.
