The Biografen Victoria opened as a 1,057 seat single auditorium cinema on 18th September 1936. In 1973, the auditorium was quadded, with two screen in the former orchestra and two screen in the former balcony. In 1976, a fifth screen was added in former toilet area. The five screen complex plays independent and foreign language.
Its located on the main road south of the city centre, Gogatan, on the island of Sodermalm in an area that is now quite boho and filled with funky shops and bars.
