The North Drive-In opened on August 9, 1956 with James Cagney in “Tribute to a Bad Man” & John Wayne in “The Sea Chase”. It was originally owned by Nick Kuris, later operated by Jack Loeks Theatres. The car capacity is not listed but was s single screen. Closed in September of 1980 and has since been demolished. Information obtained from www.michigandriveins.com

Opened on August 9th, 1956 and closed in 1959. It was reopened by Jack Loeks as the North Drive-In on April 28th, 1967 and closed in 1981. Grand opening ad posted.

The drive-in was completely demolished, but the outline, ramps, and most of the entrance road remains. However, it will most likely become overgrown with trees in the coming years.
