November 25, 1911: It rebrands and places its first advertisement as the Orpheum Theatre.

May 20, 1915: Another name change! The theater becomes the Strand Theatre.

September 9th, 1916: Reopening alert! Now it’s known as the Tokio Theatre.

1917: Unfortunately, the curtains close, and the theatre shuts down.

It reopened as the Chateau Theatre on October 2, 1919 and closed in 1924. It was operated by George E. Murphy.
