Originally known as the Shaw Theatre, located at E. Hastings Street and Main Street. The Shaw Theatre was opened on October 29, 1971 with “12 Gold Medallions”. The Rickshaw Theatre is a newly created (in 2009) 1,000 capacity performing arts venue. By 2015 it was operated as a concert venue.
