The Bayou Landing Cinemas 6 opened its doors on May 23, 1986 by Gulf States Theatres. The first four screens opened with “Short Circuit”, “Sweet Liberty”, “Top Gun” and “Cobra”, while the other two screens opened one week later with “The Money Pit” and “No Retreat No Surrender”. United Artists took it over in 1987, followed by Regal in its later years. It was closed in either late-July or early-August 2007. The theater reopened as the Grand 10 Theatre on February 18, 2009.
