The Imperial Theater was operating from at least 1941 and into the 1970’s. An Imperial Theater in Wynne, Arkansas is listed as far back as 1935. From 1935 to 1945 the seat count varies from 300 to 370. I don’t know if there is any connection between the smaller Imperial Theater and the 840 seat Imperial Theater listed here.
