Contrary to the comment made by Buffer in 2019, the cinema building remains in its entirety, no parts have been demolished. Although the building is not statutory listed, it is locally listed by Bexley Council.

The information about it being converted into a TESCO store is incorrect. After closing it was converted into an Anthony Jackson Foodfare Supermarket, it was then taken over by Victor Value. Victor Value were then taken over by TESCO, who later rebranded it as Victor Value. Lastly it become a Kwik Save supermarket. Since the last supermarket it has been a variety of bars and restaurants. Rat and Parrot, Ivory Lounge, The Real China, The Elegance Lounge and most recently Studio 167.

This venue has re-opened in 2021 as the Elegance Lounge, an upmarket dining club with five VIP booths pre bookable as seen on their website. Open 3 evenings from Thursday to Saturday.

Since the comments above the cinema has traded as Real China, a buffet service, but in October 2019, I found that only the front wall on the street survives. The register of listed buildings in the library does not include this address, but perhaps the streetscape will be preserved if nothing else.
