Located in Urbandale, to the northwest of Des Moines, the Cobblestone 9 is operated by Carmike Cinemas. It opened on December 15, 1994. It features digital projection and sound in each auditorium. The usual amenities that Carmike offers. It was taken over by AMC in 2017. It was closed on March 16, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It reopened on September 3, 2020, but was closed permanently on October 27, 2022. It became a gymnasium.

City should be changed to Urbandale.
wonder how it looks now, never been in a clean carmike theatre in three states.
December 15th, 1994 grand opening ad in photo section.
On the Carmike website with the address above but list it as Des Moines.
So did the ad that I uploaded, but Google maps it as an Urbandale address.
Now the AMC Classic Cobblestone 9.
Opened On December 15, 1994.
The theater closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic on March 16, 2020 and then reopened Sept. 3, 2020. AMC closed here permanently on October 27, 2022
