Opened by Regal Entertainment on November 18, 2005. The Edwards Boise Downtown Stadium 9 was closed on March 18, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was reopened on August 28, 2020 only to close again on October 4, 2020. It was announced in January 2021 that the closure would be permanent.
In June 2022 it was announced that it would be reopened by Cinema West. Renamed the BoDo Cinema, it reopened on March 23, 2023.

Regal Entertainment opened this theatre, it was never part of the original Edwards Theater Circuit.
Seating is listed at 1870. Didn’t this theatre open in 2005? On the Regal website they list this theatre as the Edwards Boise Downtown Stadium 9.

The Boise Downtown Stadium 9 closed March 18, 2020 for the COVID-19 pandemic. It reopened August 28, 2020 only to close again October 4, 2020. In January of 2021, Regal made the closure permanent.
The Edwards Boise Downtown Stadium 9 opened on November 18th, 2005. It will reopen as the BoDo Cinema by Cinema West on March 17th, 2023.
The first showtimes will be Thursday, March 23, 2023.
