Burk Theatre

All that I could find on the Burk Theatre was that it opened around 1940 and was closed in 1955.and in 1958 was converted into a youth center. It was located in the heart of the Sandy Business District. The entire business district is all but gone now.

Boxoffice, Jan. 13, 1958: “The Burke Theatre at Sandy, on Utah’s main north-south highway, has been turned into a youth center. It was donated to the community by James Burke, owner. It had been closed for more than a year”
