Rex Theater ... Paris Texas

The Rex Theater was opened on April 4, 1941 with Gene Autry in “Melody Ranch”. It was operated by the Interstate Theatres Inc. circuit & Claude Musselman on a 50/50 deal as was most all theaters of the time in Paris.

The Rex Theater lasted 7 years, and was closed down July 31, 1948 (although it is still listed as open in the 1950 edition of Film Daily Yearbook).

It was located in the old J. M. Daniels building.
